Interstate 10 is being constructed under a unique approach to urban freeway development. TxDOT, Harris County and Federal Highways Administration have signed an agreement that accelerate the time table of I-10 construction. This agreement combines TxDOT and Harris County Toll Road funding to accelerate construction.
