Kickerillo-Mischer Preserve Helps Educate Students About Water Quality

Recently, the Kickerillo-Mischer Preserve hosted over 100 students for a chemistry field trip to help them better understand the concept of water quality first hand. The Preserve located here  is said to be over 80-acres of beautiful green space. The preserve is said to be a great resource for educators of every subject with ranger talks, seasonal programming and guided tours as just a few of the many things they offer. Along with field trip opportunities the preserve also offers water activies like canoeing and pontoon boat rides.  Precinct 4 also has plans to expand the preserve to become part of the Cypress Creek Greenway System as well as extend to the 100 Acre Wood Preserve.
