Chairman’s Letter to the Editor

Our Chairman, John Moody, wrote an article regarding the need for immediate action to be taken by the USACE. He urges the Corps’ to wave  the need for further surveying and studying of the area, and instead support funding of the currently proposed projects to help recover and rebuild the areas of West Houston effected by hurricane Harvey. Moody stresses the importance of urgent action to be taken and the reservation that if studies delay the approval of these shovel-ready projects there could be a negative effect on the political desire to address some of these issues facing the West Houston region.
