WHA would like to give a special thanks to Joe B. Allen. Allen has had multiple impactful achievements throughout his career and was the recipient of WHA’s 4th Impact Award in 2015. Allen also retired in 2015 but that did not stop him from stepping in after Hurricane Harvey to help Houston recover. Allen is not only working to provide immediate relief for those still dealing with the aftermath of flooding but also focusing on long term solutions to protect generations to come. WHA would like to thank Allen for his continued efforts and highlight his ability to unite organizations and officials across Houston to strive towards a common goal.
