WHA Creates Advisory Board

On December 19th, the WHA Board of Directors unanimously voted to create the WHA Advisory Board. The Advisory Board will aid in Board discussion and play an active role in promoting WHA’s initiatives. On Tuesday, February  20th the Board of Directors unanimously appointed 3 individuals to our Advisory Board starting in 2018. Join us in welcoming our Advisory Board Members!


Peter Barnhart

 

Barnhart is the Executive Vice President & Partner at Caldwell Companies. His primary roles are to plan for future master planned communities by acquiring and developing land tracts and negotiating the acquisition of these identified properties.

 

 

Bradley Freels

 

Freels is currently the Chairman of Midway Companies after working as partner since 1990. Freels has served WHA’s Board of Directors since 2006 and been active in promoting WHA as well as helping create valuable content for our members.

 

Marlene Gafrick

Gafrick is currently the Planning Director for MetroNational after 33 years as the City of Houston Planning and Development Director. Gafrick is an active member of WHA as the Chair of the Regional Mobility Committee and is Co-Chair, along with John Moody, for WHA’s 2060 Plan scheduled to be published in September of 2018.
