WHA Graduates First Class of Rising Leaders

Last week on Wednesday evening, WHA hosted a graduation reception at Liberty Kitchen to honor the first class of Rising Leaders. The West Houston Association was privileged to have the first President of WHA and current Chairwoman of the Spring Branch Management District, Pat Maddox, as our graduation speaker. Maddox spoke about the founding of the organization and inspired our graduates to continue their involvement because they are this region’s future. A special thanks to Dr. Zach Hodges who announced our graduates and shared the importance of programs such as this for career development. He shared with the audience that Pat Maddox actually wrote his recommendation letter for his job as HCC Northwest President.

Each Quality Growth Partner is eligible to nominate someone from their company to participate in the program who they feel is an emerging leader. The individuals chosen are provided with the opportunity to grow their network within the West Houston Association and gain connections and abilities to make positive changes in the West Houston Region. WHA looks forward to our first class of rising leaders joining our committees as WHA continues to promote quality growth in West Houston.

Congratulations Graduates!
