Happy Valentine’s Month, WHA Members!
February is a month for visionaries, planners, and go-getters. Luckily, WHA members have those qualities in abundance! We are excited to kick-off our 2021 programming with our first Quality Growth Partner sponsored event on February 11th, A Look Ahead in Pct. 3 with Commissioner Tom Ramsey, truly a man with a plan, a vision, and “get it done” approach. We hope you will join us!
Speaking of Quality Growth Partners, we have made some changes to our QGP sponsorship program this year. We gathered insights from Quality Growth Partners and simplified things by doing away with the “credits system”. As in previous years, we will have 7 forums throughout the year that are underwritten by our Quality Growth Sponsors. If you renewed your membership and included a QGP sponsorship level, then you will be listed as a sponsor at that level for each of those 7 forums. You may upgrade for a single event by contributing the difference between your current level and the next level for that specific event. Gold and Silver QGP sponsors will also be acknowledged at the Elected & Public Officials Reception scheduled for September 9th. We hope this will make things easier for our members!
Things to Remember about Quality Growth Partners:
First, as a Quality Growth Sponsor for each event, you have a ticket packet/table for each QGP event. Be sure you aren’t purchasing extra tickets you have already paid for in your sponsorship! Additionally, your current Rising Leaders are already invited to all our events for free, so you may use those tickets you would reserve for them for other guests. Perhaps you have other team members that are interested in getting involved in some WHA committee projects? Or what about business partners you know would be interested in one of our speakers or topics? This is a great way to use those tickets to develop new relationships and incubate some ideas! And of course, as always, if you would like for us to extend an invitation on your behalf, we are always happy to help.
Second, Gold sponsors may submit one Rising Leader every year, and Silver and Bronze sponsors may submit a Rising Leader every other year. If you are unsure where you are in that cycle, please reach out. As Alan mentioned in his President’s Corner, we have revamped Rising Leaders this year, and we are excited about what we have in store for the incoming cohort! The 2021 session will kick off in April, and we will start accepting submissions soon. Please be on the lookout for that announcement.
