Like many of you, July is when we start planning for next year and wrapping up the details on this year’s remaining events. We are truly excited about what we have in store for you in the coming months! Our events provide an endless number of opportunities to network and engage with fellow members, guests and public and elected officials, and we hope you will join us for one or all of these. Please note that all of these events come with a variety of sponsorship opportunities, as well!
6th Annual August Flood Control Forum on August 12th! This annual breakfast event has become a staple for our members to touch base with state, regional and local officials for the latest news on flood resiliency projects affecting their businesses. We are fast approaching our printed sponsorship deadline of August 6th, so if you would like to sponsor, please contact me today!
Annual Public & Elected Officials Reception on September 9th ! Our exclusive annual event will be held at the Westin Memorial on 9/9 from 4 – 6 pm this year. Please note that the sponsorship for this event is limited to Gold and Silver levels, and the deadline for printed materials is August 31st. This event is open to registrations for members only. If you have questions or would like to sponsor, please contact me asap!
Fall Envision Credentialing Class on September 30th ! This link is to the pre-registration for the class. Minimum registrants required for the class to make is 35. Class will be virtual and will, again, be taught by our Sustainability Champions, Michael Bloom of R.G. Miller Engineers and Liz Parent of 5engineering. If you’ve been thinking about adding that ENV SP certification to your bona fides, check out this class. This will take your sustainability street cred to the next level!
Regional and Local Updates with Senator Whitmire on October 14th! This event will act as our annual fall forum luncheon at Westin Memorial. On line registration for this event will open after our August Flood Forum, but if you would like to register or lock in your registration for this event before then, please reach out to me, today! This is our last Quality Growth Partner-sponsored event of the year.
Annual Awards Gala on November 17th ! This event is a re-imagining of our annual awards and holiday party, but we are dressing it up a little differently this year (with an emphasis on dressing up)! As always, we will take some time to acknowledge our annual award winners and incoming leadership, but we are also adding a little bit of fun this year with some live music and a little friendly competition in the way of a silent auction. Much like Topgolf, this will be an excellent opportunity to bring your guests, show off your awards, network, and have fun! More details to come soon, but please reach out if you have questions or would like to volunteer to help with this event! This is not a QGP-sponsored event, but there are many opportunities for sponsorship. Please contact me with questions asap!
