West Houston Trails Project
November 13, 2026
7:30 am - 9:00 am

Join us on November 13 as we host a conversation on the emerging idea of a West Houston Trail System, exploring how connected parks and trails can support mobility, recreation, environmental resilience, and quality development across the Greater West Houston region. As growth continues across western Harris County, Waller County, and Fort Bend County, there is an opportunity to think proactively about how green corridors, drainage channels, parks, and community spaces can be linked into a broader regional network. The discussion will examine examples such as potential connections between John Paul Landing Park and Addicks Reservoir, while also exploring how municipalities, developers, municipal utility districts, and regional partners can coordinate to map existing trails, identify gaps, and gradually build a connected system that supports the long-term growth and quality of life of the region.
